This is about the acest weekend ever, Everton win on the road, rs lose at anfield, I get to go out on the lash for the first time in a month since I became a dad.

Our fans loved Lukaku - many applauded his goal - I did, and I applauded his reaction.

We were pretty poor in fairness and if foster hadn't messed up we probably wouldn't have scored a second.

But at this stage of season and given our first 3 results a win today was vital and we got it. Could give us the impetus to put a good run together

remind me how much they spent? to only have an old man like lambert and a reject borini to bring on lol, markovich and balotelli were average lallana not much better, reminds me of spurs last season. and there as bad as us defensively

A perfect tonic before a European night under the lights at the Old Lady. Surprised (well, maybe not that surprised) at the amount of negative comments on here....it's a game we would normally slip up in. Naismiths movement was very good again....be a shame if he's rested on Thursday.

glad we finally got our first win!!! season up and started. plus looking at league table even though are goals against is a bit difficult to look at, only chelsea have scored more goals than us.

Made up with the win,but we aren't half making things hard for ourselves at the moment,some sloppy passes through the game today that really could have put us in the soup on another day,surprisingly Barry and McCarthy have started the season quite poorly,maybe its because I'm looking at how good they were last term,they need to up their levels IMO.

I think Barry was solid in the 2nd half and provided better cover, certainly more than what has been visible this season. Overall just getting those 3 points will be a massive boost to the lads and hopefully we can kick on from here.

Totally understand where your coming from mate. I thought he was superb against Arsenal for 80 minutes and I felt it was more McCarthy not doing his job but I thought he was crap against Leicester and Chelsea. But it's a case of like you said, they need to be performing in unison at a high level to make it work and 2nd half was much more like it. Hopefully a step in the right direction today.
