I wasn't sure where to post this so here will have to do.

I haven't been on in a long while but I've logged back on to say that you guys look in fantastic shape. Was worried about the average age of your squad list at the time of Moyes' departure and also worried that Martinez would come in and try and change too much in such a small period of time.

He's worked within the structures Moyes left behind and has looked to build from that foundation whilst slowly adding players who fit in with his vision.

You guys have a productive youth academy, a wonderful eye for talent in the lower leagues of England and an experienced core of professionals as well as players who are useful and can contribute.

You guys have a youthful nucleus of Galloway, Holgate, Browning, Stones, Barkley, Lukaku, Deulofeu, Besic and McCarthy. Fantastic professionals, in their prime, who are all capable of making a discernible impact such as Coleman, Mori, Cleverely, Naismith, Lennon, Mirallas, Kone, Oviedo, McGeady and Gibson. Then you have the core of experienced players who have considerable PL experience, and who are capable of shielding and guiding the younger players, it also ensures that that is continuity at the club, Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Hibbert, Barry, Osman and Piennar. Those players may not be able contribute as they once did but I think their presence at the club is imperative.

...interesting. If Stones is out I'd be surprised if he picks Browning before Mori but we'll see. You could be right if RM thinks Browning can better handle the Berahino threat.

It might be too much for the new signing just to adapt to the prem after playing in the River Plate - I can remember HK joining us from Preston a lower division he got off to an awful start fans were wondering what have we bought this guy for to replace the great Jimmy Gabriel - answer the rest is history!

He did get stick. And here was a point where Morrissey looked as though he was going to flatten him for his crap passing.
