We set up with a winger who will occupy almost the same space as the full back when going forward, which is pointless/mindless. The same thing happens on the right most the time with Harrison in the team, and it leads to a lack of any forward play - there are no ovarlaps, no deep crosses, Dyche doesn't do that despite insisting on hoofs, they just play a few short passes and inevitably lose the ball as they're 10 meters away from each other and have to track back instantly. It's hilariously predictable and afraid football, and involving SAF in this discussion is an insult to both SAF and football in general.
Funnily enough the only time we didn't set up like that was when Godfrey was in the team towards the end and he actually did the unthinkable and played the ball forward, thus instantly elevating him above everyone else who seems to be instructed to crap their pants when they venture slightly past the halfway line. No doubt he just wasn't instructed to do that.
Anyway as you'll probably also misunderstand this, and to simplify - quote/vault me when McNeil is back playing and chasing shadows ahead of Mykolenko and he looks solid enough, as I can't explain this to you apparently.
