I’ve just heard Danny Ings hasn’t scored for 19 games.. his longest ever scoring drought.. we all know what’s going happen unfortunately
Well, Moyes is still miffed by his signing, so he might not even play him...

95% of the time  None of our midfield combinations work

Edit; which is why we're near the bottom
That’s true. Garner, onana, doucoure has been our best of the worst so far this season. Wouldn’t hate trying Garner, Onana, Mcniel, and then get Danjuma in on the left or swapping places with Dwight throughout.

In my opinion, the best way to beat the default West Ham would be to with the formation and associated tactics;

----------------------Pickford------------------------
Patterson---Tarkowski---Branthwaite---Mykolenko
Garner---Gueye---Onana---Doucoure---Danjuma
------------------------DCL--------------------------
If Seamus is finally fit though, he has to start.

a lot is herein being said about 'maybe winning': with our lot, that's not even a moot discussion. Even at this early stage of the season, we are looking at minimising losses...come season end, GD will see us ahead of Bournemouth in the 17th vs 18th spot (and hence avoiding relegation). Next season we go down.

Terribly managed club...at the non-executive, executive, and player level...a shambolic outfit. Only muscle memory lends me any affection toward it.

The things like the hearing results is what irritates me most, we knew this season is gonna be rough without a good start. And here we have a club going, we don't have points, do you take xP instead.

He's not close to match fitness yet .
I hope he gets the Harrison and McNeil treatment then, Seamus has been on the grass for about a month, while others get a direct pass. He can provide better cover if the midfield includes Garner at wide right.
Edit: he can't get match fit unless he plays matches though and Sunday is the best opportunity.

He only started full training this week after a 6 month lay off. Playing him would be crazy
He's back on the grass with 10 days also..not a month

Out for 6 months, “on the grass” for a month, individually training for 3/4 of that time still undergoing rehabilitation yet after a week of being with the rest of the squad you want him to start in a Premier league game because that’s the best opportunity to gain match fitness as opposed to coming on later in a game for minutes when the opposition players are far more tired? I can only assume you are Jarrod Bowen.

No Seamus starting, No Garner on the right. Many thanks.

That midfield really doesn’t work does it?
It might. Onana's doing a good job of establishing himself at 6.
Gana could come in and mess up his mojo.
But if Onana remains the main man through the centre and Gana plays the supporting role it may work.
You'd have to go with McNeil and Harrison either side to tighten and balance that dynamic to start with.
If the defensive side of play holds up then it allows Garner to take the 10.
You could argue that you lose some with Gana's control/passing/vision through the midfield
but the way I'd see that working is - just get the ball to Garner.
Also you have to factor in that Braithwaite is a weapon in distribution.

Garner can counter with Dom and whoever or bring other players on with the ball contol and vision he has, sort of the way Leceister played with Mahrez and Vardy, but with difference through the players we have.
You'd have to alter the press. You wouldn't want Garner pressing like Doucs. If Ange wants to pass round the back then take a 0-0 against Spurs.
If it worked reckon there are more goals than this meaningless 'potential' we have at the moment.
And don't think the goals against suffers IF Onana-Gana works.
If we got in a better 10 I'd have Garner straight back in alongside Onana. Until then...
