Agree to an extent but West Ham are utilising the loan market successfully something we also did 2 seasons back but for some reason don't bother anymore.

Lanzini and Moses are both on loan and look miles more effective going forward than Lennon, Jenkinson and Song also are on loan. West Ham also spent under £15 million for Payet and Sakho, two players who would walk into our side.

I think unless the board go we will only look like improving should we cash in on one of our top players and hopefully invest the £40 million or so received well on 3-4 good signings.

Have Wigan even got 3 or 4 good players left?

Not really im looking at how the gaps closed massively in that teams like Southampton and West Ham are on our level whereas 2 seasons ago we were a cut above everyone but the "top 6".

Our first team with everyone fully fit is the exact same as what it was 2 seasons ago. For me that's an issue as opposition sides have had 2 full seasons to work on how to play against us.

Was that the season when we finished 5th?

West ham are more than decent with a plethora of players who would be handy for us

Away fRom home we did alright, another day we play better and win. We kept them shut mostly but for a wonder goal, and sadly have to say Mirallas was the reason we didn't win this game. Naisy instead of him for me

How do you expect to a) win the league or b) get in a champions league spot if you are satisfied with a point away to one of the league's classically mediocre teams? A team that historically fought relegation in many years or yo-yo'd between the championship and the premier league. They've been a little better of late but they are by no means a top side.

This is a side that Everton have beaten six times out of the last nine games. A side that have only beaten us once in the last 20.

It's your ambition that is laughable. A good point? We'll be in 9th place by Sunday night. Not good enough for me.

It might be easier on FM but in real life this "classically mediocre" team have won at both Arsenal and Manchester City this season.

Last time I looked those two teams were top of the league.

And it takes a particular kind of stupid to demand we take our makeshift back four down there and stroll to victory.

So.....that was a hard fought, well deserved draw down there today.

And to try and suggest owt else is deluded nonsense.

Would you say we are miles above Spurs and Liverpool? I would say on par with Liverpool but below Spurs. We were however miles ahead of everyone else and were seen as "the best of the rest". I honestly can't say we are anymore.

No one outside United, City,Arsenal, and Chelsea will ever win the league until those teams spend less or the rest spend more. Just a sad reality of the game these days is money talks. Classically and historically doesn't have an effect on the pitch when they've bought some good players after staying in prem for a few years. Today was not a great performance but it wasn't as poor as people are reacting. Fact of the matter is West Ham is a decent team THIS year and any decent team on the road is a tough game in the Prem. Sunday night will be roughly 1/3 of the way of the season, its all about where you finish.

I like what you did there.

Also agree to an extent. Although not sure cashing in on in-demand players = improvement. Also wary of a new board - and not sure I'd even like some billionaire owner - it's like typing in the cheat mode on football manager.

Well I'm leaving this as I think you're probably just a massive bell, who gets his sh!t and giggles by calling people stupid to make up for the microscopic penis he uses to bother small dogs down the local park.
