Well said Ste, delighted with the start of the new regime.

This window the club reminded me of the 66 final - 2 nil down with Baines and Felli apparently on their way.

Fukn fought back like lions and won 3 - 2, greatest fa cup final of all time - just got that fuk it we are Everton about it.

COYB.

Shame if things turn good this season as it'll likely be down to the trickery of Deulofeu and the goals of Lukaku... they disappear next June and all of a sudden our squad looks very, very poor...

No money from Bill, need to add a quality striker, Pienaar a year older and slower, Distin possibly gone. What happens then?

We worry about that next Summer.

We have just made around 40m profit in the last 3 Transfer Windows, plus this new TV Deal, Bill we make sure Bobbys got a few quid.

I actually think Anichebe will go on to become a very good player

He's 25 mate, he needs to get a move on if that's going to be the case. He needed a move to kickstart his career because he was going nowhere at Everton long before Martinez arrived.

OUT
Jan Mucha (free)
Thomas Hitzlsperger (free)
Phil Neville (retired)
Victor Anichebe (£6M)
Marouane Fellaini (£27.5m)

Total 32.5M

In

Arouna Kone (£5m)
Joel Robles (£1.5m)
Antolin Alcaraz (free)
Gerard Deulofeu (season-long loan £1m)
James McCarthy (£13m)
Romelu Lukaku (season-long loan £3m)
Gareth Barry (season-long loan £1m)

Total 24.5M

Fellaini you legend!!!

Wanted to leave but remained professional. End up getting Utd to pay 27.5 for him and the when the club requested he put In transfer request, he agreed allowing us to not pay him £2-3M in loyalty bonuses.

I love you big fella, all the best!

Have to agree with you mate. I actually think Anichebe will go on to become a very good player but since he wasn't in Roberto's plans £6m is a very good deal. We also did a Levy with Fellaini and got a lot more than most people expected.

I don't know how good McCarthy is really but with Barry and Lukaku we have spent very little for 2 quality players. We may need a little more steel in midfield that we've lost with Fellaini but hopefully we can add that in January.

Optimistic!

I struggle to see how anybody who has watched him play for the past five years could possibly reach that conclusion. Last season was his best for us and he still offered little more than being able to hold the ball up well. He's not a good passer, he's not got bags of pace and he's not a clinical finisher. He's a mid table striker at the absolute best.

Hope for your sake that you don't wake up each morning worrying that you're going to die some day.

typical blue haha

Happy with our signings. Always liked Gareth Barry and even though he is only on loan and won't be first choice I'm glad he's here. Hope Anichebe does well at West Brom.

Christ butters, you are the classic blue onion bitter!!! We just done great business and now have a proper goal scorer and two accomplished ball players in the middle.. If it gets us into Europe then we can spend what we have.. Get over your self and get off the mild...:)
