Final Cut is an emotional ride, more intellectual than The Wall, more political than Animals, very Roger-heavy. Lots of singing, less long instrumentals.
Man, I miss Lanegan.
wowzers, that is high praise! i'll have to give it another bash, haven't really listened to his solo works enough. you ever check out his opera, Ça Ira? am curious but not got round to listening to it yet.Along with The Wall it is my favourite Pink Floyd album although it's really a Waters' solo , Waters is my favourite artist with Amused To Death being my favourite album of all time , never really connected with the Gilmour era bar Division Bell .
A Roger lockdown session
Yes played it at lot when it came out but couldn't really connect with it as it's not really my type of music , it got glowing reports from BBC Radio 3 though .wowzers, that is high praise! i'll have to give it another bash, haven't really listened to his solo works enough. you ever check out his opera, Ça Ira? am curious but not got round to listening to it yet.
