I'm more than happy with VG+. Looking through my old stuff I've found a near mint copy of Spanish Dance Troupe by Gorkys Zygotic Mynci back from my indie buying days. That's knocking around the £60-£100 mark *sold* on eBay.

No hesitation getting that flogged and picking up 10-15 very decent LPs that I'm actually going to listen to for that kind of money.

oh aye, i've even bought some G/G+ which sound fine...pops/crackling yeah, but not overwhelming. Bagged a ton of cheap Klaus Schulze with those ratings (also with ripped covers and the like)...a treasured part of my collection, as they sound good.

Sometimes you get unlucky, tho'...got a Dark Side of the Moon with an unlistenable side-2, and my Moody Blues skips on Tuesday Afternoon, which is just criminal.

Made a start. Not got round to selling Gorkys but picked up Olias Of Sunhillow for a fiver on the market - definitely proggy. I've already got a couple of Jethro Tulls and a couple of Gabriel era Genesis so it's a start.

I own a lot of Yes, but Closer to the Edge isn't among my favorites of theirs, so I gave the album you linked a pass. That would appear to have been a mistake.

Not the biggest Rush fan, but I always thought this is an awesome album intro...

Huge fan of the opening to that one. Always fantastic live. As they got older, they started playing all the good bits while leaving out the chaff, rather than just playing the opening.

Incredible track on headphones, just takes you away.

I always remember thinking this song would of been improved without the particular guitar sounds they went for as they are not adding anything. After many many years of hearing it again I still think the same… the drums and bass are front seat driving here, one of them should of unplugged the guitarist

It always sounded like, a song specifically made for a sound track, even though it wasn’t.

It used to get played a lot at Indie Dance nights, I used to go to in my late teens, which is why I like it so much.
