Yeah I thought the singles that I weren't mad on sound better in the album. Favourite is still comfortably the best thing on there for me, but of course I'm gonna say that when it's the lovechild of Age of Consent by New Order and The Cure.
Still prefer them more moody though. The 3 song run that ends Skinty Fia is still my favourite thing they've done.
Also is there a song title in existence worse than Horseness is the Whatness? I don't think there is.

Disappointing that there were no further 80s indie inspired tracks on there. Surprising amount of "slow" and 90s Brit inspired songs on there too. Will need another few listens I think but at the moment it hasn't met my high expectations. I think many of their die hard punk fans won't be too enamoured either.

I think I prefer their previous albums too, but this does have a fair few decent songs. Looks like they're going to be massive now too, not really sure how they have managed it as they don't have many big radio songs but rather them be massive than some of the other dross out there
