What the hell is going on with some Blues?!

Not one fan I've spoke too who doesn't support Everton agrees we should have sold rom

All have said if we had any ambition we'd have kept him. He had two years left

But we accepted the first bid didn't even push them to get more! And got rid. Bottled it and lost our top player. He will be missed you'll see by May.

But what's worse is we didn't even have a replacement lined up. Even two weeks after he's gone. Madness

Do you know what mate, from your post I thought RS, checked out your previous posts and realised you're obviously a Blue but couldn't find a single positive post from you in your recents. ALL negatives. This IS the most exciting times we've seen in 30 years. If you can't find reasons to be cheerful, supportive I'd find something else to do. Have a look in the mirror and cheer up!

Your wanna be davek rants are boring

Of course they'll perform better - and there will be additions yet. But Everton's failure to provide a Plan B (again) is plain to see. And no matter how long the season goes on for the lack of pace (which you need from all over the team) just isn't there in sufficient numbers.

I said it before about Koeman: I have no faith in him building a team...especially an attacking unit within that team.
Yet you had faith in a football fraud who got 47 and 44 points two seasons in a row and urged people to give him another season in May 2016. You did not complain when he signed crap like McGeady and Niasse though. To sum up, you just hate everything regarding Koeman and Moshiri. Do you see any difference between now and the time your football god was sacked?

Ha ha
That's a great question
And you already know what he will say .....

In my humble opinion I am more excited for this season than I have been for 10 years at least. Just having all these new signings come in, Rooney sandro and klassen in particular will be exciting to see how good they can be for us. Combine a fully fit schneiderlin, a young goalkeeper who can impress us , centre half looking to prove he deserves the step up and some exciting youngsters in Kenny, Davies, lookman and lewen , can't see how you can't be excited.

@BrendanGOT but Everton are World Champions of the Eternal Let Down.. denied Europe countless times by rule makers - rule makers that, somehow, allowed more than one club per city into football leagues.. so anyway. We should have won the league in 64, 68, 75 and heaven knows what happened after 1970.. but the rest have also improved (to a degree)

Chelsea maybe, if they don't lose any
Spurs don't seem to have bought but have retained all theirs
City have improved by buying every full back in Europe
United have improved their squad

Liverpool are struggling to hang on to Contiho but have got Salah - ditto Arsenal with San Chess but have bought a couple.. we have lost Lukaku (for a king's ransom) and possibly Barkley.

We should be ok but maybe not a lot of points more than last season.. perhaps 65-68.

Even if we finished 8th and won the league or FA Cup and won or at least tried to win the Europa I'd be happy enough as we'd have something to show for it and Europa league football guaranteed from the cup win and potentially Champions League group stages if we go all the way in the Europa this year. With the addition of Giroud, Sigurdsson and a left sided CB to partner Keane then I don't see why we can't at least do a domestic cup and go far in the Europa.

This supposed 'transition' has left me comfortable with;

GK -- Pickford: Looks like being a top keeper for years
RB -- Coleman/Kenny: Coleman is injured and Kenny not given a chance yet
RCB -- Keane/Holgate: Keane looks like being with us for years and Holgate is an able deputy
DM -- Schneiderlin: Looks like a good all rounder
CM -- Gana/Davies: Gana is like Kante but not much going forward and Davies looks class
LF -- Sandro/Lookman: If Sandro adapts we have a top player and Lookman needs more games
RF -- Dowell: Potentially a very good player to rotate into the team
CF -- Calvert-Lewin: People want a target man but we already have one

So, we have 6 players signed by Walsh/Koeman, 5 players from u23s, 1 existing player whose injured long term.

Personally think
Left side of defence looks laughable with Williams/Jagielka, Baines/No-one being a Dad's army.
Central midfield lacks any creativity and Klaassen is unproven
We have 10 players across the forward line. Many aren't good enough and Rooney is past it

We laughably spent 23-28mil on Bolasie last season...now were looking at 50mil on Sigurdsson

So much wrong with this squad.

I think it's unfair to use that game as a benchmark to judge the team. That team may be 'farmers' but they are still a professional team who've had a preseason and 5 competitive games under their belt against an Everton team only half way through preseason, add that to the fact that many players are new and the team still needs a full preseason and a few games to start gelling into a cohesive unit. As Neville Southall said, we'll see the true force of the team around December time
In a nutshell. Case closed.

After 15 mins on here & a couple of conversations on twitter it would leave anyone thinking we're gonna get relegated next season. The negativity is mental. All I'm reading is that Koeman is rubbish, Steve Walsh is rubbish at being a DOF and at scouting, the players we bought are rubbish and over priced, losing Barkley (for chocolate buttons) and Lukaku is gonna have us finishing outside the top 10 and Moshiri is a massive fraud who's mission is to bleed the club dry, etc etc, lol what the hell is going on with Blues? Are people wumming or being serious? We've had one of the best windows I've ever seen in my lifetime, and it's still not over, not to mention all the positive happenings around the club.

We were 11 points off our best points tally last season in Koemans first season with a pretty average team barring a few players. If this seasons team turns 4 losses from last season into wins this year then we will break that record and it's hardly a mountain to climb in my opinion, especially with our new players, they say a good keeper alone can earn a team 10 points.

There's also every chance that the game plan is to go for a domestic cup and try to win the Europa. Would make sense as in a less number of games it gives you what 3rd or 5th place (if we only won the FA cup) would at the end of the season and it adds a trophy or 2 to the cabinate. I don't think we're strong enough to push the top 6 & win the Europa and a cup but I think with this team one or the other is achievable provided we get the Lukaku replacement and left sided CB that Koeman said he wanted to get in.

Maybe I'm being too positive but I really don't get all the doom and gloom and why people are acting like club is a mess from top to bottom and saying we're going to have a terrible season etc.

You have heard of the Stockholm syndrome
Well the negativity you speak of is called the Davek syndrome
He derails every thread with the same bile to undermine the owner and manager.
He want Bobby back

I can understand people being cautious given the last 20 plus years but this last year I've seen nothing but positive things happening and positive things planned for the future of the club. I mean compared to 2 years ago we look like a different club and are moving in the right direction. It actually seems that some Blues preferred us when we actually were crap and the club was run like a circus!
But certain posters loved the ringmaster in the circus and felt he could no wrong
