The OP should have links in his first post. Poor.
But being on the lash in Budapest when we signed Lukaku permanently was up there. Arsenal 3-0, I viewed it from the top balc, and tactically we were spot on. Really believed we would kick on, especially when Rom then signed.
The wolfsburg 4-1 was quite jammy I recall.

3-0 win at Southampton, my workmate supports Southampton and quietly he was waiting for this game and bursting for them to beat us, we murdered them on the break and it shut him up until for a while until he thought they would hammer us a couple of weeks ago, now I wouldn't mind if we nicked Koeman off them, can't see it happening but I would love to see the look on my pal's face if we did.

First season really, then when he signed Lukaku, and fended off Chelsea can't buy stones, it just seem to get worse his pig headed attitude on persisting with favourites particular in Tim Howard I predicted his downfall sadly a nice guy who somehow lost the dressing room - that first season showed so much promise with nice football unfortunately went swiftly downhill - need to get someone in with a great track record now!

Forgot that 3-2 at West Ham, manic day that one. Everything about that day had me believing. Crap first half, but he made 2 good subs to change the game in our favour, and then when Osman got injured a few minutes later, went with the unpopular but correct sub in Oviedo to maintain our balance and formation, and we absolutely murdered them second half. Came from behind twice with those Baines free kicks and won it late on with Rom's debut goal, away end was bananas that day, one of the best aways ever.

The 3-3 Derby, had we held on for that 3-2 win, that would have been number 1 with ease. We were unlucky to be behind first half because for 90 minutes we did something Ive never seen us do before or since, and that was to just absolutely destroy Liverpool and play them off the park. That moment when Lukaku put us 3-2 up was as good a moment as any Ive seen at Goodison. Just why couldnt we hang on? Sadly that is Martinez's legacy, as the 3-3 at Chelsea this season was exactly the same.

During the Arsenal game when we were at least 2-0 up (can't remember if we'd scored the 3rd) and we were toying with them, passing it round and they couldn't get near us. Cue a spontaneous standing ovation from the crowd. I thought we were well on the way to something awesome

3-0 Arsenal. Wasnt that the day we moved Rom to RW and it crazy worked? It was like he could think of any hairbrained idea and have it turn out to be genius in the good old days. Speaking of which we might finish up with more points than Spurs did this year. Which makes this thread sadder.
