half flilled is comparable
no atmosphere rings true currently
and any food, tesco or asda is better than the [Poor language removed] all the majority get currently.

next.

Half filled? hmm considering we bring in at least 36,000 every game at Goodison isnt comparable.

No atmosphere? Id say a game against Fulham at Goodison will produce more atmosphere then most games at the Kirkby arena.

neither you nor I nor anyone else can see the future.

i was at the blackburn game, the atmosphere was negligible until the last ten minutes, hardly mind blowing.

half filled is comparible because kirkby will be a 50k seater, half = 25k.

at least 36k at goodison? on average? nah, no way.

i hate obstructed views, i hate no chance of a half time beer, i hate the cut throat nature of having a piss at half time.

goodison in geriatric, and the only reason i see people wanting to stay as we are is for selfish reasons.

i have some strong opinions about selfish reasoning. honest i do.

the atmosphere at goodison can sometimes be dire. 'graveyard goodison' my sheffield mate labelled it a few years back. i love goodison but it is by no means a wall of noise for fulham matches!

I've only been to Goodison once but I can guarantee you that I support the side more than some "lifelong" Evertonians who make it there every week.

Take that to the bank.

I went to Kirkby market twice a few years ago the first time when I got back to my car the hub caps and offside wing mirror where missing the second time they took the car so I told the wife to go by taxi its cheaper:angry:

So I been going every home game since 1958 as have my mates so please explain how you support the club more than any of us? how much is your season ticket that actually goes to the club you are a fan a supporter does exactly that pays to see the team play:huh:

Well dont complain when you see a half filled stadium, no atmosphere, tesco value food and drink.

If our fans don't turn up to support the team, shame on us...

its our job to support the team no matter what and if we stop doing that for the sake of 3 miles then all this talk of Evertonians being the best fans and most loyal is all bullshit.

They could move to the North pole and I would still support them.

Once a Blue Always a Blue, and 3 [Poor language removed] miles ain't gonna change that.

i've read some people not going for the sake of the 3 extra miles. some people saying it's not the match itself(!) but the standing in line at the chippy and having a pint in the pub that makes them watch everton.

i am not for kirkby but i'll still get a season ticket there when i'm back home. it's everton ffs!

Rob I will go to Kirkby but I think its a big mistake too much trust in what Kenwright says for me hes lied before why not again but that's over we lost the vote its this three mile thing .my first reaction to Kirkby was [Poor language removed] them I wont go but as Ive been going since 1958 I know I would weaken ,but as I go to all home games and roughly 10-12 away games do you really think its about 3 miles sorry mate but that's a stupid remark I will hazard a guess that me and my old codgers have travelled a lot more than you over the years its not travelling to cup finals ect I mean going to some drab mid week game miles away not when the team are doing well but when theres a knot in your guts trying to get enough points to stay up I have the utmost respect for our younger fans who despite never seeing us win anything are there week in week out but over this they are wrong no one minds the three miles its principles and if they decide that's their lot who are any of us to question that,as far as I know no ones demanding that we boycott Kirkby just there own personal choice not to go,so please call them wrong or what ever but dont bring the rubbish about three miles up

Just when you think its safe to turn on the computer screen and not hear anything about this Stadium bullshit and another arguement pops up about it. TBH, Its getting beyond a joke we've voted BK is looking into moving to kirkby like it or lump it the Majority of Everton fans want the move to Kirkby to better the club can we please drop it already.

Not trying to offend anyone with this statement I'm of the standpoint its done and dusted over with lets see what happens.....Until then lets talk about the team or something ANY but the stadium debate...its going to drive me mad.

Well yes i'll be going but its gonna be a [Poor language removed] stadium, thats not even in the city that we became a team.

Cal you make it sound like we are cutting all ties and becoming a different club. Each time we have moved, it has been outside the city boundaries. I think you are getting just a touch over-worked over this. The stadium proposals are great, the location is good (not great, but good), the financial deal is un-rivalled.

We can't stay in Goodison, that is perfectly apparent. We can't redevelop due to the lost revenue and until that Mickey Mouse organisation LCC and KEIOC come up with a VIABLE plan, then Kirkby is the way forward.

I kinda agree but i dont want our ground to end up like the Reebok or something like that.
