When will we win the Premier League?

Depends how old you are. Our best chance is, now we are out of Europe, bring back the maximum wage, fix it at £1000 per week. Then we will see Blackpool again with an England centre forward and such like wonderful things.

Never, the game is corrupt now and even if we got our act together and created a championship winning team the powers that be would not allow it to actually win the league.

Something major will have to happen in English football in order for us to compete for a title, I don’t know what that major thing is but I’d say the chances of us winning a title in the next couple of decades are slim to none. The mega clubs just have too much of a foothold on things... only way we win is via some freak season like Leicester.

Ask again when Moshiri and Kenwright sell up and make fortunes.

For the self confessed financial martyr of Everton he’s done ok has Bill

It will be a long time yet, we're a mess at the moment. Not a lot of cohesion, or consistency, we have a bloated squad full of average players. Sadly I think we need to get rid of a lot of the players we have bought over the last couple of years.

Hopefully Mr Ancelotti will be given some funds to enable us to strengthen, especially the middle of the park. To allow him to implement the style of football he is known for. That in itself will take three or four years easily.

I already experienced this situation with Racing ... we spent 35 years without winning the league from 1966 to 2001(an unforgettable date for all of us), then we waited another 14 years to win the league again in 2014 and then again in 2019... but this good time we are going throug wouldn't have been possible without the support of all the people during those 35 years where in addition to not winning titles the club almost disappeared

the funny thing is that when Racing fared the worst, the most people followed it home and away and the passion for the club grew and passed from generations to generations

Thats why its very important that we continue to support Everton regardless of the results. the most important thing is the love for colors, then the achievements will come sooner or later

I don't agree with this never ending five year plan nonsense. With the right players, the right manager and the right crowd things can change very quickly in football.

Agree. My local side Barrow have just been promoted to the EFL, only 2 years after Manager Ian Evatt came in to the club. Barrow had just avoided relegation the season before he arrived and were nowhere near fancied by anyone to do much this season, except by Evo himself who has massive belief in his players. He has totally transformed the side with one of the lowest budgets in the league, playing some fantastic football. The fans have totally bought into it. John Rooney- player of the season and playing his best football. Things can indeed change very quickly and it can be done.
