Revising my earlier prediction based on tonight. That lot and Leicester look stronger than us, Arsenal absolutely do not. Willian and Luis look done, tierney looks very average. Top 4 is on.

Been thinking this too, only two sides look better so far, ok others will improve but we could ourselves too, esp at the back

having no fans in the grounds until early next year at the earliest is going to be a great leveler.
Some sides depend on the support while others crack under the pressure
The amount of away wins so far this season is some kind of proof of this
I think we will win a lot more away games than normal this year
Just have to keep Goodison a fortress without the fans there
I am saying 5-7 spot with an outside chance of top 4

Hard to when the transfer window is still open. At the moment it would be towards the top but I expect others to spend or bin off their manager *cough* ole *cough*.

I would imagine 6th/7th. Love to be proven wrong though.

Dont know about that. Leicester despite selling big again look very strong. Harvey barnes will be their next huge price departure.
They seem to have a knack of getting very good players into that midfield that you dont really know anything about.

we probably only need 18 more wins for top 4. A good start is always important in the league, but I dont think that has ever applied more than this season. Massive game this weekend, then it's 17 to go

One game at a time. We have a coach who can manage his players correctly but one slip on a banana skin can derail every bit of momentum that has been built.

I think we can definitely get top 6.

There are plenty of teams that can put in a good performance on their day but very few that will put in a solid 25+ good performances to secure a top 4 finish. Liverpool, City & Chelsea will be up there but there's no reason why Everton can't battle it out with the best of the rest for those 4th ,5th & 6th places to set in to Europe.

The real key for me is maintaining a consistent side with very few injuries x

I honestly think this will be the greatest influence on where we finish. We need to take advantage of the fact that all our main rivals apart from Leicester will have European football to contend with.
