Who could replace Martinez ?

Ask a sociedad fan, btw. They hate the football they're playing with one of their most talented ever midfields.

Moyes will be sacked before martinez, nailed on.

I can well believe it. No football fan wants to watch that sh1te he churns out.

he won plenty of games that did matter, think you're forgetting that mate. Donkey distin giving suarez an assist in the semi screwed him royally
The game had swung long before the Distin error. Moyes's' usual HT talk was doubtless a key factor in our putting the ball into the opposition's half in the second half.

cant agree they couldn't score in a brothel that day without specialist help, which distin gave them

He'll get them playing good football eventually. If he's working hard on grinding out results for the time being then that's fair enough.

When we were good we played some of the best football in the league under Moyes.

the ones that got CL football, the ones that secured European football, the ones that prevented relegation early on in his tenure, the 09 semi. Plenty there, you just want to be bitter about him which is a shame really.

We won **** all. The chances we had to win a trophy he bottled. There's no getting away from it.

David Moyes will never win a top flight trophy. I think it's safe to say that. You need to be bold; Moyes is a steady Eddie.

Laughing here: the divvy wins one high profile match in about two years and he's a reformed character with redeeming features for Everton. It probably underlines how desperate people are right now that they'd countenance a dour mediocrity like him again.

We did, but we would always lose confidence with it and go back to playing hoofball.

We were at our best under Moyes when we played pleasing football but he wasn't a manager who valued it so whenever there was any kind of pressure we'd fall back on industrial hoofs and men behind the ball.

He was here 11 years and we played good football for about 2 and a half of those 11.

He won't be missed by me and he won't be missed by sociedad fans.

He won the same ammount of trophies at everton as martinez has.

Moyes left without winning a trophy which makes him a failiure: agreed. If martinez leaves without a trophy himself, he'll also be a failiure.

I don't see how you can be so clear headed on moyes but keep harking back to that 5th place finish last year as if it means something.

he won the community shield. Better luck next time, look forward to you ripping martinez soon

But Martinez has done it elsewhere...and he's only been here 18 months to Moyes' 11 years.

Apart from that....!!!!

All depends on the results he gets. Don't think supporters care too much about style if they're winning games. Anyone who watches Atletico consistently won't be telling you that they play scintillating stuff, yet I doubt any of their fans want Simione out.

I think Moyes does value the importance of playing with some kind of flair, but not at the expense of results. Which is fair enough, I can't name many managers who think otherwise. Martinez is actually the only one who springs to mind.

Oh no martinez deserves more time, sure. I've always said sacking him this season would be the worst possible thing the club could do

He's had a very promising start, all things considered.

But a 5th place finish still means very little.

They haven't been getting results, though.

This team finished 4th last year and have won 2 league games out of 7 under Moyes. It's not great.

he got relegated too, something that has never happened to moyes. But you would probably treat a cup win with relegation up there with the cup winners cup
