Who could replace Martinez ?

Why? Behave, he is a good manager, as for the way he treated us we have more important things to worry about right now than things in the past
He was a class player until he got his pay check from us and decided to take it easy for a few years. Who's to say it wouldn't be the same as a manager? We'd give him a big contract for a few years and he could spend the time freshening up on contract law and tort while getting 60k a week from us

These are EXACTLY the names that would be realistically in the frame for us too. Ferguson, Unsworth, Stubbs.

Some posters here reckon Kenwright would be paying Martinez and his team off with millions then going after a top manager to pay compo. It's so funny it's past being stupid.

Martinez needs a win asap to ease the pressure because fans panic

Deffo... I wanted him first time around.

Spurs come to mind.
We dont have Spurs attractions.

No one as decent as Pochetino would tip up at Everton after Martinez.

It'd be a backroom appointment "until the end of the season" and they;d be given the post FT if we stayed up.

We are in massive danger here of losing the plot and plunging ourselves as a football organisation back a decade with the neanderthal football you can expect from the likes of some of the backroom characters.

We need to calm down and consider this very very carefully. The kneejerkers would have you take the above as a decent solution. We stand on the brink of turning back the clock toward agricultural football.

It's truly frightening that these posters are in the ascendancy. They really are going to carry us over the cliffs edge and back to the dark ages.

One manager who I would like who is very realistic:

Harry Redkapp.

British
Knows the league
Contract runs out end of the season I think
Got top 4 with Spurs

yes he bankrupts clubs but that's only when the owner throws money at him that ain't happening with kenwright

Oh I'm not comparing us to Spurs, I just thought it answered the original question you had asked.

I want RM gone as he's become completely clueless, but as already stated it'll be hard to get someone of status in at this stage of the season. Joe Royle to reinstate the "dogs of war", 'til the end of the season would be my choice though one I'm not comfortable with. At least it would save us from relegation.
