27 for a Striker is PEAK, so really not old at all.
Apparently Moyes is a huge admirer of James McCarthy so we'll have to see if we look at him in the Summer.
Bony/Negredo are my choices for the Striker position.
Just sign a Belgian as well, just because they're boss.

Absolute LOLS at people saying Negredo is too old.

He's 27 and awesome. Just seems way too good to be true that we could be anywhere near getting him.

Still don't want McCarthey anywhere near an Everton team myself.

McCarthy will be the best CM in the PL within a couple of years. If we got him it would be a steal.

A super alternative to Negredo is young Danish striker Victor Fischer, who plays for Ajax. Only 18 a regular in the side and scoring for fun.

I would prefer De Guzman over both of them. Strong all season in the Prem for Swansea, and has some international experience with Holland.

Diame will be off to the ACON every so often which is not something we can afford all the time we have a small squad, and McCarthy just doesn't look as good a player as De Guzman.

The two articles suggest that there is a decent chance De Guzman may be available in the summer, depending on whether Villareal secure promotion or not. Ok, Swansea have the inside lane on this one, but you can't tell me the player wants to live in Swansea instead of somewhere a bit more.... cosmopolitan?
