Arsenal. Chelsea being good for the last 15 years doesn’t erase them being a nothing club and Arsenal being huge for the 100 before that.

Arsenal third behind United and Liverpool in the country. Then a fairly big drop off to fourth place.

I dont think there is any such thing as "currently" Arsenal are the bigger club, they just are

If a player was given a choice between Arsenal and Chelsea I reckon they would pick Chelsea more often than not at this point.

Currently is the only thing you can somewhat accurately judge by, otherwise where do you draw the line?

Are PSG a big club?

I tend to weigh the historical less...is Preston as big as Spurs? They both have two top division championships.

Does it matter? If I'm a Preston fan, I just want to see my team win and be part of that community. It doesn't reflect on my manhood that my team is laboring in a lower divvision.

This is a debate I often see with the English football fans. But it's something me and my friends have debated and we never find a definitive answer. Out of Chelsea and Arsenal, who is the bigger club? Both clubs have immense history and achievements, Arsenal more so domestically and Chelsea more continentally.

Now me personally, I would say that Chelsea are the bigger club. They are the bigger brand, they have the bigger fanbase internationally and more people are aware of Chelsea. I'd say Chelsea's success came after the globalization of the game and invention of social media, which helped Chelsea's image a lot.

In real life, whose fans have you met more? Chelsea fans or Arsenal fans? And which area?
There's no debate if you ask anyone who started following footy more than 15 years ago. It's Arsenal all day.

Are PSG a big club - no not for me; but that doesn't mean they are not an attractive proposition for players. I dont think they are mutually inclusive

It really doesn't make that much sense though. Are we bigger than Barcelona? They were created 21 years after we were and we had already won the league before them.

Ask anyone who started following more than 120 years ago and they will say Everton...

Chelsea and Arsenal are pretty much on par with each other currently.

They are a big club regardless though.

Are Marseille a bigger club than PSG then? Historically they are, There are people on this forum who are older than PSG. They are still a really big club.

I don't really go for big clubs or small clubs, they are all just clubs who can go bigger and smaller depending on success.

That’s no measure of them being a bigger club, though. More players would pick City than United when United are 50x the size.

Any time recently until last year players would pick Bournemouth over Leeds.
