Burnley fans are clueless Neanderthals.
Dyche probably knows defenders more than most and Dyche preferred Keane.
Burnley's setup compliments a certain type of centre half really well.
Maybe Tarkowski will be better suited in a more expansive side (him playing some games in midfield for Burnley would suggest so) - Lampard wanted him for Chelsea. Given the defenders he had available to him there, he clearly rates him very highly.

Dyche sold Keane and made Tarkowski his first choice for the next 4 years. I would imagine Tarkowski has improved as a player from 2016, Keane from what I have observed has gone rapidly backwards.
Keane had a year left on his contract/wouldn't sign/had to sell - still their record sale.
It would be like saying in a few years that Lampard sold Richarlison.
To be fair Andros Townsend kept James Rodriguez out of the team for a couple of months last season.

I'd go Branthwaite. I think he has the most potential to improve. i think the others are what they are and he can become better than them quite quickly
Fair point, but they would under Sam Allardyce to and we know how that plays out.
So no one paid any attention to his interview then? He can play football he's not a Burnley grock.
