Dont know that much about him tbf but what does winning in Scotland prove exactly?
Nothing but there is a lot more to management than just winning trophies. We are not doing that and are not going to be doing that for a long time.
A good manager is someone who is a winner and can get results, they need to show they can adapt to situations, they need to show they can improve players, not going to be intimidated by the big boys (unlike Moyes who bent over everytime we played one of the big 4) straight talker and holds their hands hands up when they get it wrong. There are lot's of aspects to a managers character that are important, looking at trophy counts is not something we should be worried about imo.

I’m all for giving Frank more time but if for any reason he walks or is pushed then it’s gotta be Moyes for me, the end….

If the club had ambishun they would be on the blower to either Mancini or T Fronk arranging them a deal and promises of funds in the January window.

But we don't and we'll be in the exact same scenario as last season come Feb/Mar.

I've always thought Brendan Rodgers would be a good manager for this club.

Shame the timeline didn't correspond but if Moyes had left a year earlier I think the club would've targeted him from Swansea given the way he built them up in similar way to Moyes and PNE.

He's obviously managed that lot but it wouldn't be the same as FSW with all the vitriol and division that appointment represented surely?

He's in his prime as manager, won trophies with two different British clubs and he took over Leicester when they were plodding along in lower mid table playing awful football.

Even this season and being one game away from the sack for about two months he has impressively turned it around and they could quite feasibly finish 8th again with the clean sheet run they're on.

Whether he'd have any interest in managing this club probably not but in terms of characteristics of a manager I'd be o.k with him as after a period of time his teams always play with good style.

Carragher with Souness as co manager. One can spit at the interviewer and the other tear apart opposing opinions. The players would be terrorised by Souness and forced to make an effort.
