Who should replace Frank Lampard?

If Potter had got relegated you'd have been all over it like a cheap coat.
Potter took over from chris hughton. I watched brighton under him. They hardly went over the halfway line. The transformation he did immediately at that club was brilliant.

Your crtiticism of potter is weird.

Its much easier to change a culture at a small club like Brighton filled with middle class fans than of a big club like ours thats filled with arl arses and juiced up inner city lids.

You cant change the culture at Everton you have to embrace it and strengthen it.

Its why Simeone would have been a perfect manager here - not because his football is good to watch but because its spiritually in sync with what the Goodison faithful feed of - in addition to him also being a good enough manager to strenghen that dogs of war style.

Relegation doesn't make a manager bad - Klopp, Wenger and Benitez all have relegation on their CV's yet are three of the most successful managers of recent times - even Howe took Bournemouth down.

Overall I think Dyche is the better manager - Burnley are a tinpot set up whereas Brighton have an excellent system in place.

I know you like your tiki taka fitba (I do myself I loved Martinez's 1st season) but ultimately that brand of football just doesn't work at Everton.

For some reason the Goodison crowd love industrial long ball football and if its not on display you get the groans from the stands.

You cant enforce a culture on a club like ours.
Why should we accept a one culture, industrial, stoke/Wimbledon style of football at our club? I agree that dyche might be the answer for now, but in the future, when hopefully we’re out of this mess and have better ownership, why shouldn’t we aspire to have a successful, entertaining football team?

Teams change their ‘culture’ all the time under different coaches. Industrial football will never be a winning formula in the modern era. That type of football is dark ages stuff.

Don’t think we need a manager as the players don’t seem to have a clue at what profession they are actually in.
For me, the gap between the defence and the midfield is killing us. Our defenders don’t or can’t push up, once our midfield tries to press we’re totally exposed. It’s why we looked better against City.

If the manager can’t see this by now he’s a lost cause.

Thats a different matter. Just talking about what he did at Brighton. I enjoyed watching them when i could. more than Everton

Though that isnt saying much. We're as anti football as you can get.

Sack another manager/pasty without any real plans on who is supremely mediocre successor will be or if he'd even be able to do better with our obviously rancid team? Why not eh? Its about that time of the year after all isn't it.......?

Mate Lampard is inept. Results don’t lie and he bought players like McNeil and Maupay.

Every single manager we've had since Moyes (with the obvious exception of Anchelotti) has been inept then mate. Either they where all terrible managers (not beyond the realms of possibility I'll grant you) or there's a deeper problem with the club that can't be fixed by this endless cycle of sacking managers. The owner and his board are killing the club. They see us the fans as the enemy. We can sack Lampard and replace him with whoever you want but the club is doomed with this hierarchy regardless of the patsy we have in the dugout.

Nuno, although seeming uninspiring may be a shrewd move.....

Probably a better version of Moyes and Dyche.

EDIT: Been promoted from the Championship!

exactly it’s never going to change a thing

until it’s a complete change at boardroom level
