sam who couldn’t keep west brom
up?

we won’t go back to any manager we’ve had
Yes Sam who had us 8th in the league. And kept up us, Sunderland and Palace as well as many others... West ham, Bolton, Blackburn.

But then took the near impossible job of keeping West Brom up who were adrift bottom when he took over and they gave it a valiant effort including a great result at anfield but were just too short in the end. I would take my chances with him for sure. More so than anyone else.

I suppose you would go for someone with absolutely no credentials like Frank again.

the sporting director who signed mcneil and maupoo? ye ok
Sometimes signings don't work out, you could easily see the justification for both of them even if they have flopped, regardless, succesful clubs employ sporting directors to make these decisions so if he is not involved his position is pointless. Thelwell also brought in Onana and Garner who will no doubt be successes here or elsewhere and has revamped a horrific academy setup left behind by Unsworth. He's not perfect but he's an actual football mind unlike our deluded chairman or horrific owner. So yes, that sporting director.

oh god

Give it Rooney and Ferguson combo. Let’s go down with some passion.

….I can’t understand this fascination with Ferguson. He’s been a failed back-stop for years. I know Finch Farm, he strutted around like he owned it because he was in a comfort zone. He’s not as universally popular as fans think. He’s not universally rated.

Having ’passion’ means nothing if you’re not respected. You have to earn respect.

Not sure dyche would be the right manager to get us back with a fighing chance. We need someone that can somehow make sure the bad bunch of players we have exceed every week now for the rest of the season, and that can identify quickly a formation that gets us results.
Problem is with Dyche it might mean McNeil plays week in week out
Still would take Dyche over keeping Lampard. Can only see one conclusion with Lampard

He'd at least drop Mykolenko given his previous alleged comments lol
