Who should replace Frank Lampard?

I'm not a fan of Dyche but given the squad and the circumstances its the logical choice. 4-4-2 Bin off Gordon and get Chris Wood in. Doucs and Onana in the middle, Townsend back to cross it in . We'd stay up and thats what we all want. Can't be gambling on a manager with no prem experience or a manager who doesn't suit the squad. Depressing as it is it has to be him. Dunc as assistant to attempt to appease the fans. You all know its happening.
Hasn’t he gone to forest

No we wouldn't. We'd go down.

Wouldn't be able to keep the ball, would have two strikers who can't run with the ball to create space and don't score goals, two full backs who still can't get forward and still no one who could deliver a good set-piece.

It would be a travesty on all fronts.

These names in general personally seem very volatile.

Dyche basically runs his club more of less a bit like a tyrant.
Bielsa is infamous for being disgruntled behind closed and leaving clubs early. Our boards a disaster that seems like a ticking time bomb.
Nuno was an utter disaster at Spurs. Wolves he was buoyed by one of the three most powerful super agents in the sport.
Rooney has proved very little from a very early coaching career. Add the homecoming and you may be making a molotov cocktail.
Tedesco is the most engaging of those names but is one of extremes in results thus far from a small body of work. Regardless if he has pedigree, he's still largely an unproven manager. He has merit but I wouldnt say with distinction.

I'm beating a dead horse but I'd point to Adi Hutter who has over a decade of experience, and while in the bundesliga largely punched above his weight with clubs a similar stature to ours in germany. Or Pepe Bordalas who has over 20 years of coaching under his belt and built Liga 2 Getafe into a Europa spot finisher. Both currently free agents.

If we logically try to poach like the likes of Villa I'd look at Igor Tudor from Marseille. They are third in Ligue 1 but if Villa can garner Villarreal's manager I'd hope even in dysfunction we'd have shot at a french sides gaffer.

Maybe none of those names are world beaters but the rationale for them being good hires is not predicated id argue on a 10% outcome. We often approach this with a go for broke wishful thinking optimistic outcome. Id accept median competency for a bit.
The managerial appointment we do make will be very telling of who's actually in charge. If we go with a Dyche/Nuno/Moyes I would assume Kenwrong has hit the panic button and needs to get the most 'prem proven' manager he can find in. If we get Bielsa or Poch then Moshiri is most definitely the one who knocks - that just screams 'We need a big name, no more taking risks on untested managers'. However, personally I would trust Thelwell to make a reasoned decision based on the squad we have, the managers ability to work to a slim budget but quickly establish an identify and tactical vision. Hence why I'd be pushing a Hanselhuttl-type appointment or even Lee Carsley, but would be interesting to see if we can get Tedesco or Frank (if we're dreaming)

Haven’t any clue what kind of manager would work well with this group of players. Should have the candidates post anonymous pics of their fridges in @john jako thread and go with the one with the most interesting fridge

I like this idea.

If we went with best watches Dyche would be in the running from an article I saw about Premier League managers and watches.
