Who should replace Frank Lampard?

May as well go the rest of the season without a manager.

Just get Moshiri to tell the players to pick the team amongst them and do what they want.

No we wouldn't. We'd go down.

Wouldn't be able to keep the ball, would have two strikers who can't run with the ball to create space and don't score goals, two full backs who still can't get forward and still no one who could deliver a good set-piece.

It would be a travesty on all fronts.
Whose the man to keep us up then ?

Sad thing is the board (except Thelwell) that’s making the decision is exactly the same as the last 7 or 8 occasions and so the list of possible replacements is the same absolute filth as always
The only hope is that, from Mosh’s statement I’m not making the decision, he’s actually letting Thelwell be a DOF and make the decisions. And it’s Thelwell that’s pulled the trigger and him that’s going to pick a replacement so there maybe different names in the running
Mind you Thelwell bought McNeil and Maupay so we are still doomed!

Sigurdsson seems to have disappeared without a trace. Long term injured? Can’t he be our non-playing Player/Manager? He’s already on the payroll.

I joked about it but reading about Hasenhüttl he does have a knack of pulling teams out of relegation. There's a couple of blots on his copybook like all managers, notably big 9-0 shaped blots, but he does tick the boxes of working with less resources than others, PL experience and successfully battling against relegation.

Southampton have hardly set the world on fire since he was sacked and it looks increasingly like they hit the panic button a little early.

Everton once again linked with 5-6 different managers with 5-6 different styles of play, completely exposing once again their lack of forward planning. This is what will ultimately sink us, and we will remain sunk until we get a new board and a new structure in place with a clear plan to take us forward
Wouldn’t read too much into that, I think who we’re linked with is determined by who is available and the press, I doubt anyone has seen a list of names from the club.
