….they still have no idea but Bielsa is now favourite & Marcelino Toral into the betting market.

I like the idea of Bielsa if the club was stable so I think it’s a no go. Has Rooney been mentioned ?I don’t know, just a thought. Would he give us the fight? We need to plan for the next few years. I think anyone would find it difficult to keep us up, so we need to start from the bottom. I know he’s inexperienced but so was Arteta.

We're quite obviously going for the available managers not at a club at the moment but no mention of Gallardo , Tedesco , Favre or Seoane. All better options than Bielsa.

What a choice we have.

Bielsa who nearly relegated Leeds, or Dyche who basically did relegate Burnley.

Both with entire squads they’d built themselves, more or less.

What makes anyone think they could do better with our patched-up misfits?

Because they have both proven to have done better than lampard has before.
They both have experience which lampard doesn't really have

We’ve clearly learnt nothing. Every link is prefixed with ‘Moshiri contacted…’ or ‘Moshiri’s preferred candidate…’ or ‘Moshiri wants…’
There should be a rolling shortlist of 3 candidates at all times, as Brighton have and Brentford probably have. It’s clear there’s no joined up thinking when candidates range from Dyche- who would favour a direct and defensive style, to Bielsa - who would want fast, high press and intensity. It’s the same every time we look for a manager, leading to the mish mash of players that don’t fit a particular style or philosophy. Surely this should have been one of the key aims of Kev’s much vaunted ‘strategic review.’
