Who should replace Frank Lampard?

I'm torn.
We don't have the players nor the budget for a Bielsa system, but he's a good manager and could build a real connection with the fans/players whilst being grounded in a real tactical identity. If Thelwell approves him then we've got to back it, but if he doesn't approved we truly are f*cked
I don't want long-term Dyche-ball at EFC, but he's the modern day Alladyce and you can see that being attractive to the elderly folk on the board.
Modern managers like Corberan would allow us to work on a long term vision akin to how we should have approached Marco Silva. Tedesco is another like that but German football is very different from English football, but not convinced atm.
Then there are managers like Hansenhuttel who could probably make the most of the squad we have, they have good tactical identity but aren't flashy/have recent successes.
Other managers like Marcelinho I don't know enough about, I would question the fact he's only managed Spanish clubs but I saw he was close to a move to AC Milan so it's clearly not for lack of trying opportunities elsewhere.
Whoever comes in we've got to back them immediately and hope that the Fan-backing + new manager bounce is enough to get us back on track.

Sounds like it’s going to be a Bielsa
Way too many red flags this for me.

He has one style of play only which has been proven time and again it’s easy to play against.

His Leeds team shipped so many goals it was ridiculous

He wasn’t deemed good enough for Leeds but we want him?

There’s just no way his insistence on playing from the back with Coady and Mykolenko and co doesn’t end in disaster

He is a very volatile man who I just can’t see how he gets on with this loony board

He has never once joined a team mid season. Everyone expecting him to join and for the players fitness to just be amazing all of a sudden are in for a rude awakening, it’s not going to happen.

For the people saying “oh well we are down anyway it’ll be a laugh,” both points are wrong: we are only two points from safety with half a season left. And come back to me about his kamikaze footy when we lose 7-0 at Anfield about how enjoyable and entertaining it is.

That's possibly why someone like Corberan might be the better shout. He is still school of Bielsa in terms of the attacking sense but with a bit more tactical sense about things and a bit less kamikaze.
