We don’t pay champions league wages. Probably barely even pay Europa league wages.

The reason we can’t shift players is because we have paid too much, not other teams want to match it.
We are in global game, but foreign clubs can’t compete with our pay structures.

Not that it means anything meaniningful - I've kept an eye on his odds, and they've dropped to 20/1 with sky bet this morning. Last time I'd looked they were around 40/1 I think.

If its Wayne Rooney then we are totally doomed, no better than Frank has all the hall marks of an Everton move destined to fail.
