Who should replace Frank Lampard?

Bielsa or Dyche are definitely the options a club with a well thought out plan comes up with

They genuinely waited to see what names Sky Bet came up with before picking up the phone.

They are so predictable like. I’d almost have more respect for them if they just went wildly left field and appointed Preki or Clive Woodward.

Personally I want the best manager available or we can get so Pochettino or Tuchel or Gallardo would have been ideal but totally unrealistic.

So next I look for a manager who will bring the best attacking football, Bielsa ticks those boxes because he coaches players into being better and his style of play excited fans which means more support and usually wins.

Dyche is a stop gap manager for me, if he get 6 wins before May, I'll apologise but his style of play doesn't produce goals, it consolidates the ball and feeds of scraps.

Exclusive: Duncan Ferguson is in advanced negotiations to become Forest Green Rovers' new manager. The former Everton coach is expected to take the job

Could Big Dunc take over at Forest Green?

There are reports this evening that Everton legend Duncan Ferguson is being lined up as the new manager of Forest Green Rovers.
Ian Burchnall
was sacked as head coach with the club bottom of Sky Bet League One.
The former Ostersunds and Notts County manager was appointed last May to steer Rovers through their debut season in the third tier, but won just five of his 28 league games to prompt owner and chairman Dale Vince to make a change.
Ferguson is yet to have a full-time managerial role having taken caretaker charge of Everton on two occasions before departing the club last summer.

Dyche and Hassenhutl have win rates (over their overall spans at Burnley and Southampton) that are slightly higher than Benitez in his time here. Bettered by Silva, Koeman, Martinez, Ancelotti and Allardyce here (all of whom we wanted sacked). Bielsa's win rate in 21/22 was worse than Lampard's.

We need wins, badly.

No that's not even what I'm worried about. We've basically been playing in bad areas and trying to survive on deep defending and scraping goals. It's been a disaster. That's all Dyche does. We're not fixing anything.
In fairness though, Dyche is way better at it that Lampard proved to be? The one thing that baffled me about a man who played for years under one of the most pragmatic managers of all time, never learned that basis trick from him. One goal is enough, get it defend it and see if you can sneak another. Had we adopted that mentality this season then likely we would have another 6 points at least on the board.

Basket case of a club.

What the plan then lads….Errr Bielsa, great a fast attacking coach who plays good football is a deep thinker and student of the game…an if he won’t come?

Dyche he’s a defensive coach who been relegated twice

Great job done

Especially when we need players in. You can’t target the same players for polar opposite managers.

Did you see his style with Burnley in the Championship?

2013/14 Goals for 72 Goals against 37 Goal difference +35 Points 93
2015/16 Goals for 72 Goals against 35 Goal difference +37 Points 93

Sounds ideal!

It would be just like us, for DF to get the job and we then approach Forrest Green to speak with him and pay compo
