Imagine being the manager approached by the board to replace Frank knowing that you've got Mr Moshiri by the balls to virtually demand any contract you want.

I'm sure Everton would prefer somebody on a six-month deal, but will ultimately hand out an 18-month one with the manager likely fired anyway after five months if he can't save us.

18 months pay for 20 weeks in the job would sound tempting for an awful lot of people.

Dunno what managers earn but I'm sure Carlo was on a heck of a lot more than say 50k a week. Let's go with 75k over 18 months = 5.8m guaranteed, if fired at end of season would work out just shy of 300k a week. lol

He pretty much axed McNeil from the team last season due to performances. Agree that lewin will start every game until we get a new striker, well I hope we do.

It looks like it's between bielsa and dyche. As someone pointed out on another thread this alone shows how disjointed and badly run the club is.
You couldn't have 2 more different type managers yet they are the likely choice.
