Who should replace Frank Lampard?

No that's not even what I'm worried about. We've basically been playing in bad areas and trying to survive on deep defending and scraping goals. It's been a disaster. That's all Dyche does. We're not fixing anything.
Let me first say that I think we mostly agree in terms of the football we primarily want to see, and the philosophy the club should have. The difference is that I don't think Dyche is necessarily a bad thing - given Everton's current situation. One of the things that I think characterizes Everton is a lack of identity. We are neither one nor the other, and we completely lack work ethics and morals. This also goes hand in hand with an apparent lack of plan and organisation.

I think with Dyche we will get this in place, and if you have the basics with you, you can go incredibly far. It naturally requires Dyche to take slightly higher risks than he did in Burnley, but I think he will do that eventually. If you look at teams like Brentford, Newcastle and Aston Villa, they are incredibly well organized defensively, and are not too keen on controlling the game with the ball, but rather want to exploit the opposition's imbalance when they have possession. The difference is that these teams are incredibly good at transitioning from defense to attack. This has been a weakness with us for quite some time.

In the short term, it is much easier to improve this phase of the game, than to have to press high and dominate the game through possession. E.g. had Kompany carried out the total change with Burnley in the PL, it would have been doubtful whether it would have been particularly successful. That is not to say that Dyche is the dream, and I understand the skepticism.

He's the English Simeone. I'm sold.

Think thats what therwell is thinking with Corberan, you would like to think more links coming out as we need a manager in asap now running out of time
Im afraid we would destroy Corberan. Hes one for the future when things have settled down. We need a sean dyche or bielsa type personality that can eat the board for breakfast

We need to get this wrapped up by Friday night. Give the manager the weekend to assess and get signings in and give us a week to get some training in before the next game.

Personally I want the best manager available or we can get so Pochettino or Tuchel or Gallardo would have been ideal but totally unrealistic.

So next I look for a manager who will bring the best attacking football, Bielsa ticks those boxes because he coaches players into being better and his style of play excited fans which means more support and usually wins.

Dyche is a stop gap manager for me, if he get 6 wins before May, I'll apologise but his style of play doesn't produce goals, it consolidates the ball and feeds of scraps.
Bielsa isn't going to be able to 'bring the best attacking football' to this bunch of one paced misfits. Its a nice idea but it would need time to implement and half a new squad. Dyche is a no brainer at this current time with this current squad.

Sam Allerdychi.

People not wanting him are deluding themselves into thinking we've ever played good football without him.

I've Been a Blue for 45 years and our football has always been [Poor language removed] but at least Sam got results.
How are things at Mordor lad? You must be gutted you spunked £70 mil on that tatooed blert Nunez eh? £70 mil and you basically got Maupays speedier cousin :)

They have spent 3 day trying to get Bielsa...
It seems Bielsa told them he expects them to run things properly and resource him.

Which is a problem for them.

So quite ey they've gone for Dyche I don't know. One think that struck me about Dyche was an interview where he spoke about long term planning, sustainability and infrastructure being vital at Burnley.

It's not really our thing, is it?
