Personally would be disappointed if we ended up with a generic bum like Lampard/Rooney.

If Benitez goes it has to be Potter coming in.
You're kidding, right? After spending the last six months saying Potter would pee his pants in charge of Everton and bemoaning "Potterball", you now want him to replace your rotund hero. Unbelievable, Jeff.

Big week this for Rafael this, lose tonight and against Leicester and surely it's the big pay off.
I've been saying the same thing with every passing defeat for months, yet he's still here. Seems to me that unless we drop into the relegation spots, Moshiri will be sticking with him for the forseeable.

No he's still an average level manager.

Finished 16th with Brighton last season - would have been chased by our fans.
Yet you want him , he’s your choice .The other day You went on about how you’d hound Ferguson out of the club if he was appointed because he’s your hero . I’ll be honest I can’t make sense of any of it .

Would you rather me say Guardiola or Conte and be a top yet delusional fan?

People need to face facts we are a midtable club with a very limited budget, average squad and an owner who ultimately looks at PL experienced managers in the main.

They'll be no top managers or hidden gems from overseas coming here to replace Benitez - the fans need to realise that.

Mate I’d take just about anyone instead of the current manager however if I’d specifically name checked a particular manager and gone on and on about how he was wholly unsuitable for the role for months I’d feel a bit of a whopper by identifying him as the man for the job . That said people can change their minds ,realise they were wrong or just change the nature of their wind up or whatever.

What worries me is that this squad has had some talented managers and yet still don’t run in to space, get caught in possession easily and can’t even complete easy passes. I’m not sure any manager would get a consistent tune out of this rabble.

Which shows how poor the options available out there are doesn't it?

Nuno, Gerrard, Lampard, Potter, Smith, Alladyce, Rooney

The types of names you'll have Moshiri looking at unless he could tempt Mourinho here who would be my no1 choice out of the managers I think Moshiri would look at but would he come with our budget constraints?

You really want Mourinho?! Jesus H! Is Chemical Ali not available?!? He'd do less damage than Mourinho.

Imagine replacing one outdated, has-been, dinosaur manager who falls out with players with another outdated, has-been, dinosaur manager who falls out with players. Astonishing!

Mourinho would burn the place down the minute he didn't get everything he wanted. No serious club in the Prem would touch Mourinho anymore, his best days are long behind him.
