I'd take him. I can't think of anyone better available.Lucien Favre until the end of the season maybe?
Yeah, don't get me wrong I think it would be a long shot and certainly he'd have a lot of reservations but at the same time what bigger opportunities are likely to come up for him any time soon? City, Chelsea, United or Liverpool I can't see even if they do change manager any time soon. Spurs have Conte. Could certainly see him at Arsenal or Leicester but neither or those jobs likely to come up all that soon. For all our obvious problems at the moment quite a bit of the hard work turning the club round has begun and it's certainly an interesting project for a guy like Potter. We should certainly be stating the case.My thoughts exactly although I think that pitch begins by appealing to their DoF Dan Ashworth. I expect Potter to garner something above us in due time which might be his calculus in stying put. But totally agree on the pitch to him and Ashworth. Build your club similar to Brighton, but with a larger profile and resources.
Would you get behind him if he came?Koff with the Mourinho shouts
That is a great hire. I saw them interviewing him but didn't know he got the job. Well its unlikely Potter would go to Newcastle this summer following Howe's appointment. We would be wise to capitalize on that but with a director first if we keep the job available till summer.Ashworth gone to Newcastle last week
That’s the problem when EPL Teams have more money than sense, it’s more about status than substance.
Asking too much palRight being serious now. Are next manager needs to be someone with a 3 year plan. A manager who is forward thinking, not afraid to give youth a chance. Plays better football than what we have seen the past few years. It’s a rebuild job, so there will pain along the way. But we need a vision and plan. If we go down there is chance, the manager we have still needs to be given the time. This next appointment is the most important one since moyes. We are at a major crossroads not just on the pitch but through the club. The fans need someone they can get behind.
