We need a period of quiet reflection at this stage. We don’t need to be buying another manager out of his contract, giving him a three year deal and then sacking him in six months. Put Ferguson and Baines in charge for a while and then take a measured decision on who we want or more importantly who we can get. You never know Ferguson and Baines may grow into the position.
If this big review of the club is on going then include the position of the manager, the position of a DoF and anything else we need.
Step back, think about what style of play you want the club to play, think about what style of play our players can play or the style of play the players we can afford can play and then select a manager whose style suits us, take an informed decision don’t just think up a list of names and go for one.
