Major Honours = 32 plus 4 best coach of the year, last cup win in 2017 (4 Years ago) with Europa League and Charity Shield. Sides managed since Spurs & Roma

Everton Major Honours = 18 from since 1878 (143 years), last win 1995 FA Cup (27 years ago)

I think he just needs to be loved to unlock that sort of winning potential, if given the chance why would you not want that....

Just for balance Carlo Ancelotti has 18 major honours and 2 less coach of the year awards (2).

Exactly the same as Mourinho, Ancelotti`s last trophy was in 2017, a Bundeliga with Bayern.

There's NO money in the pot to sack Rafael, if he loses the next 10 the club are NOT in a position to pay him off. Until the financial mess ( Well done Mosh) is sorted Rafael Reigns !!

Depends on what targets (if any) he was set, I imagine.

We recently had Diego Martinez spend some time at the club as he was doing a bit of a research tour around England and knows Benitez it seems. He would be a good shout for me, he took a small club in Granada up a division and then into the latter stages of the Europa League playing decent football on a team made up of loans and free transfers. For me I would bin Brands, move Benitez to DoF (I actually think he would be good in that role) then have Martinez as a head coach.

I like this

I'm not a huge fan of Lampard but I think it would be a smart choice particularly as he would know who the best young players are at Chelsea and we could potentially get some bargains. When he was at Derby he took the best Chelsea youth players and gave them experience and helped launch a few careers, if he did he same here the squad would be in a lot better shape when he is inevitably sacked after 18 months!
The big problem with Lampard is whether the players will respect him enough to give him a platform to build some discipline and a hunger to play for the shirt.

They've had it too easy for too long these players.

The problem with the fans is we idolise bums who dont win anything because they are young and "progressive" - so progressive that they win fcuk all!

Why appoint Mourinho when you can appoint Lampard or Hassanhuttl.

Need to remember also that Jody Morris was the guy responsible for bringing through/working with a lot of the youngsters at Chelsea and him and Frank have gone their separate ways now.

Fake news,

Mourinho was still winning trophies in 2012, 2015 and 2017. I`ve posted his full list of honours.... See above.

I dont think you should have posted this without proper research, you will sway other supporters using false information.

I said peak. Mourinho winning a Europa League with United (which even Ole was a penalty away from managing) is hardly a match for his achievements at Porto or Chelsea first time around. With their budget United should never be in that competition.

He hasn't been the same since his downfall in Madrid.

Not that we wouldn't want him. We'd have no chance if he was still anywhere near the manager he was.
