Just shows how U/s Benitez but we have had awful injuries which Carlo did not have to suffer.

Did you say Carlo never sustained the same injuries as Rafael? Really?

Such short memories to suit your agenda. How many games did we go with Coleman and Digne missing playing 4 Cbs across a back 4. Iwobi playing wing back, Richarlison and James up front.

This is one game at Brighton in April - https://royalbluemersey.sbnation.co...e-more-at-brighton-premier-league-match-recap, note the patagraph "Certainly, the absences of Allan and Abdoulaye Doucouré in midfield were felt, with Everton dearly lacking bite in that department despite the best of efforts of Tom Davies, Mason Holgate (a centre-half)" and also "First, though, some mitigation. Which is that you’re loth to criticise Carlo Ancelotti, not only given how often he’s got a tune out of this jaded, threadbare squad, but also because circumstance dictated that his team on Monday essentially picked itself. Owing to the Premier League’s lengthiest injury list, Everton named only eight of nine possible substitutes at the Amex Stadium. Alex Iwobi, the only senior player among them, accounted for 150 of their cumulative 153 top-flight appearances. Two of those on the bench were rookie goalkeepers."

His injury list was as long and as bad, but only the Rafael lovers want to forget this to big up the kopite rat. He isnt any good, all the evidence is there yet people make their own incorrect decision by false memories.... Just WOW

In that case my recommended appointment is gravesen and li tie

Okay I stand corrected to a point, but I am not a Rafael lover.

Jesse March from RB Leipzig just got sacked and would fit us well.
Young(ish), former player who succeeded as a manager at New York Red Bull and RB Salzburg. Leipzig didnt turn out so well but there were mitigating reasons...

He likes to press hard and aggressively and plays a direct style when possible, 2 men up front and narrow with plenty of space for Digne to run into.

I would prefer us to go for someone like him.
Why was he sacked?

Lie.

There's NO money in the pot to sack Rafael, if he loses the next 10 the club are NOT in a position to pay him off. Until the financial mess ( Well done Mosh) is sorted Rafael Reigns !!
The thing is, if Moshiri is, allegedly, going to give Benitez money to spend during January, surely it will be more than 12 million. He’d be much better off using it to pay off Benitez than letting Benitez spend it. Longstaff anybody?

If we pay off Rafael then we have no money to spend and this team ain’t good enough

I dont see how the club can set high targets while at the same time giving him 1.7 million to spend, it's a 2 way street, to.pay him off will costs a lot more then we spent on players in the summer, its the main reason IMO why he is safe.
We can see the on field mess but he is also seeing the behind the scenes mess, the change in medical staff being one example. I dont think the club would agree to that if his job wasnt safe..

Paying him off: probably depends on whether he achieved any of the targets he was set. Unless the board knew he'dd be a bit of a disster and din't bother with targets.

Nothing would surprise me with the oafs who appointed him.
