Are you suggesting the players missing were just "Not Selected"?

One game, and I've pointed that game out myself in this thread. Twice.

You said "his injury list was as long and as bad" - no it wasn't. That is a lie. Our injuries last season were about average for the Premier League overall. If you compare the first 13 games of each campaign, it wasn't until game six Ancelotti had his first serious absence in Richarlison, game seven he missed both full backs for one game and by game nine he was back to full strength, with only Digne and Coleman notable absences for the rest of that section of the season.

It was, by no measure you care to use, "as long and as bad" as what Benitez has had.

So you lied. Unintentional I'm sure, but you lied.

If we pay off Rafael then we have no money to spend and this team ain’t good enough
The team is going to be rebuilt with the money we get for Richarlison and DCL, we won’t spend big in the January window without sales whether or not Benitez is still here. The idea of letting him spend the money we bring in for these 2 terrifies me. It would just mean that when he is sacked, and it is when not if, that there will be no funds for the new manager, our best players will be gone and they will have players that Benitez brought in to play in his dodgy 442 that they will be unable to get rid of.

The current 2 best performing players gray and Townsend both brought in under Rafael what makes you terrified

Rondon, Lonergan, his wish for Longstaff, the players he brought to Newcastle, some of the duds at Liverpool, I could go on, but, the thought of Benitez spending the lsst of our money is too depressing.

Lonergan is backup, rondos meant to be back up to, unfortunately Dom been out injured forever. End of the day who would you bring in to replace Rafael? We have a terrible team and our fan base has turned. Who would want to come to that

You don’t sign back up players that are unable to play, they are players, that is the operative word, they are meant to be able to play. Rondon has been a total embarrassment and yet Benitez picks him week after week, it’s almost as if he thinks he’s a good player. If that is the case he’s not a very good judge of a player is he? Would you trust him to spend what we get for Richarlison and DCL?

Don't know if this has been mentioned here yet, but have just read that jose Mourinho could be our next manager when benitez is given the boot. Google Mourinho and its all over the tinternet.

Thoughts if this was to happen?

Micky Mellon, Tranmere boss. Has shown he can stabalise a club in the lower leagues and has gotten promoted from non league and FL2. Sort of skillset that maybe of use soon

Why was he sacked?
He lost too many games :)
RB sold 3 core players and didnt really replace them in all fairness.
I dont think he can walk on water but Id like to see someone energetic and dynamic in charge, not a dinosaur. Ancelotti, Benitez, now rumours of Mourinho.... No more.
