I've come around to having Lampard.

I was hoping for Ferguson, but he seemed to repeat the same issues with our midfield two getting overrun and zero build up play. I know he only had a week with them, but it would be nice for us to try to control a game of football.

Lampard prefers a 433 which I think could suit our players, he'll be motivated and still demand work, but I think he could bring it in a calm intelligent way.

Seen a few say that but to be fair to Ferguson, Allan wasn't fit after Covid to start. We then didn't really have the options to go three in the middle. Once that's understood, we're on his back for not starting Onyango or Gbamin, really.

To play three in midfield, we need three midfielders. Mad that often we've not really had three decent midfielders.

We have 3 people Moshiri Bill and this kin clown agent Kia all trying to push our club in different directions, sadly every single one of their directions is wrong way.
We are so badly run it’s mind blowing.

Relegation is nailed on in the next 2-3 years. It could actually be this season, 100% it will happen before BMD is built.

I’m starting to think a DoF might be the first appointment we should make providing he gets full control of the footballing side. This way he chooses the next manager and it removes them utter clowns we have from making anymore diabolical decisions, stick to ‘Kin spreadsheets you absolute wasters.

RIP EFC

Completely agree. Not sure he had much choice.

I do look at townsend and think could he not work more centrally? Works hard, decent passer. Yeah, not the quality we need, but could he do a job in there when supported by our other midfielders?

One worry I have with Ferguson is that I just think he’s too emotional for the job at present …there was talk he was distraught at the end of the game…which is obviously who he is and it’s great to see he cares.

I might be doing him a disservice but In the situation we are in, I think we need someone fresh who can come in with a calm head , who can analyse what we need to get out of trouble, keep the players calm and focused, and not get overly emotional/caught up in the drama/turmoil as pressure is going to be cranked up.

He shouldn't be involved imo, if he really does want to be a manager one day then he needs to let go and move on and get his own job somewhere ie SPL or Championship and learn the full ropes for a bit then maybe come back in the future.

I think Townsend or Gordon will have to start playing in a midfield 3 tbh. Or even Holgate.

Still think Pereira’s name has just been thrown out there, got a feeling it’ll be Lampard
worryingly Rooney and Lampard have been mentioned from the beginning, so there must be some hesitancy about appointing them otherwise we dont need to bring Pereira over for talks. I really hope Bill, Sharp and Denise Barrett are not fooled bu this super agent and go for a more steady appointment

I think it is only a matter of time before Benitez gets the boot as things simply cannot carry on this way, so who would everyone want. The obvious choice is Duncan Ferguson to the end of the season but myself I would like a young up and coming manager given a chance so my choice would be Frank Lampard who did pretty good at Derby and was harshly treated at Chelsea.
Vitor Pereira would be my choice...

Unfortunately this is a rather accurate summary

Just suspend a briefcase with the contract over the pitch at Goodison and the first one to get to the ground and grab it whilst doing the zip line challenge has the gig.
