I imagine it’s more a case of asking the candidates to set out their vision for the club and how they are going to play etc. Can’t imagine it’s a competence based interview. “Can you tell me about a time when you avoided relegation?” lol
I think they let David’ Kenwright’ Brent in for 10 mins and if you survive the cringe, they know you will be okay around him every day.

Now I don’t know how Everton do things, but I’m guessing talking about salary, which back room staff they want in etc is the final bit. Presumably though that’s part of the interview too and not done once it’s been offered. They might well have already been through the above with Lampard. At least that’s what I’m telling myself to feel better. Hoping he just gets announced and it’s done and dusted, no more interviews or rumours.

Surprised Hasenhuttl has not been mentioned tbh. Surely he'd get this group performing better than Southampton are? I know that's not much of a benchmark, but better than what we're currently seeing.

He also consistently spends nothing. Again, surely he'd be taking a team into the top half with more of a budget?
Christ mate, can you imagine this place putting up with two 9-0 defeats in a year while re-building. He's had enormous support (if not financial) from 2 owners at Saints so far.

Hasenhuttl is a decent coach but a bit poo at spending money. Not dissimilar to the last bloke we nicked from them, that ended well if I remember.
