Now I don’t know how Everton do things, but I’m guessing talking about salary, which back room staff they want in etc is the final bit. Presumably though that’s part of the interview too and not done once it’s been offered. They might well have already been through the above with Lampard. At least that’s what I’m telling myself to feel better. Hoping he just gets announced and it’s done and dusted, no more interviews or rumours.

Let me tell you how Everton do things, forget how to play any decent joined you football, buy rubbish players, most of the time recently. Have no real plan on how to properly run a football club. Have no real plan on how to run a business. Have become so bad at what they do, that any manager in their right mind won’t come to us. Seem to appoint managers who can’t or don’t seem to have a plan on how to progressively build an improving squad.

An absolute shambles from top to bottom. We’re rudderless and going one only, at present..

The very fact he’d take a 6 month deal tells me he doesn’t believe that much in his ability to keep us up and just wants a payday. Lampard all day, man wants to build something worthwhile and hasn’t relegated anyone.
