I get your point. However, not everyone claiming insider knowledge would get an Everton focussed journalist to follow them. There's obvioulsy something there that they've had whispers about their end.Because they are in the same business? My son follows porn stars, he aint signing them though
has he got any tips!Because they are in the same business? My son follows porn stars, he aint signing them though
Every time they've sacked or lost a manager it looks like they're starting from zero to replace them. Not just during Mosh's time after but it was the same when Moyes leftThe fact they seemingly didn't have anyone in mind when Benitez has been struggling for months speaks to the total dysfunction at every level. Watford sack their manager and Roy is in the next day, Villa sack there's five days later Stevie G is in place. Over a week later we have rumour and counter rumour.
It’s on Moshiri this one I think. Benitez should have been sacked much sooner. He’s held on just long enough for things to become a full blown crisis.Every time they've sacked or lost a manager it looks like they're starting from zero to replace them. Moshiri said yesterday they're "working like crazy" to get this managerial situation sorted out. I suggest he works even crazier because we need a couple of signings to be in a good place to avoid relegation.
Beggers belief it's taken this long.
"Relegation".
We're 6th in the table mate and with another 3 points in the bag on Saturday locked into the top 5/6...and we have players to come back in.
FFS "relegation".
These are different times at Everton: big spending Everton gets a manager sacked if they fail to get above 14th, this more prudent Everton doesn't.
That's the new reality.
You know in your heart of hearts that Benitez has this season as a gimme as long as he doesn't have us in a relegation fight...which is highly unlikely.
None of that matters.
Benitez wont be sacked this season unless we enter a relegation fight in the new year...HIGHLY unlikely I'd say.
I think you're the one who's deluded, tbf.
We are 3 points off the top half of the table; and if you dont think that DCL getting back in the team and spending on players in january doesn't improve us then you're kidding yourself.
I do have to laugh when ever we get a manager under pressure and the 'relegation' card is played. It's utter bollocks to suggest we'll be relegated keeping Benitez.
I think there are many Evertonians who - while they wont back Benitez - are with him if he takes a blow torch to the unproductive elements of this club.
He'll get leeway for that reason alone.
We'll see us rise up the table soon enough though, and the "in/out" polls will disappear rapidly.
Utter nonsense.
Let's look at the recent run of form - not great but more an indication of form than 3 months worth of football. The last month:
WLDL and a cup win thrown in.
The bottom 4 between them have won 1 game in that time period.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves with the relegation talk.
Yeah we haven’t got the time now to experiment with FergusonIt’s on Moshiri this one I think. Benitez should have been sacked much sooner. He’s held on just long enough for things to become a full blown crisis.
Being an overthinker and not doing research seem an unlikely combination. I always saw him as a pretty intelligent lad, so would be surprised if he has a lack of knowledge. Not being decisive I can get. Sometimes the more you think, the harder it is to come to a decision.
We want Kovac
