I don't know.

Lampard had Chelsea in 9th place, had the worst points per game of any manager under Abramovich and had that Chelsea side looking an absolute shambles from set pieces.

Hopefully he commands a bit more respect from our squad and gets them firing because he lost control extremely quickly at Chelsea.
Yes, and if you were trying to hire only from Chelsea’s managers under Abramovich that may have some relevance. Maybe his actual results in the PL and FAC compared to Everton’s current situation my be a more relevant comparison?

The best possible appointment? Better than Pereira (who had at least won something) probably, but he's still basically failed in every job he's taken. He was fourth with Chelsea, but with that squad that was a pretty throbbing underachievement.

Either way, it's better than the FSW.
Failed?

In his first season as manager he took Derby to play offs. His second he won the FA Cup (I think) and qualified for Champions League. In his 3rd he was 4 points off champions league spot and into champions league knockout stages when he got sacked. I hope he's as good a failure at Everton. ?

Better than Pereira
Yes Lampard is the better option. By a massive margin. We need stability right now and we wouldn't get it from Pereira. He's been managing for years and he's never stayed anywhere beyond a couple of seasons. He's already proven that he's got big mouth and a small brain with his little stunt on Sky. He'd make us an even bigger circus then we already are. Lampard is far from the the ideal manager but he's a far better option then the wretched alternatives.

Based on what? He did an average job at best with Derby and Chelsea. He talks well and has a lot mates in the media I guess.
