“You know, a famous football club chairman asked me just the other day, when they need to make a decision they ask, ‘What would Everton do?’”

We ll what we’d do is employ a man who had been managing in China, who’d managed our rivals and belittled our club and fans in the past, sack him about 3 months too late, and conduct his replacement search like I’m a celbrity get me out of here.
And the week before we sack him we allow him to sell one of our best players and loan in a player we don't need. ;)

No wonder everyone's laughing at us.

I’m hoping Frankies saying,
“Oy Mosh geeza, I’ll sign up only if you sort out these two players I want before Monday or I’m scarpering guvner”

They weren't as strong as they are/have been under Tuchel and yes defensive work wasn't his strongest aspect, but was it weak?

They had a goal difference of +10 when he was sacked, with twenty-three goals conceded compared with the thirty-three that they had scored.

For reference, at that point Liverpool and West Ham had conceded one less and were in fifth; it was comparable or better with/that many other clubs.

So, while his record may not be the greatest I'd suggest that it's a bit unfair to call it 'weak'. Look, he's not the ideal choice but he's far (far!) from terrible.

I don't think Lampard is terrible. I just don't think he's what we need.

Rumour is Frank Lampard is now closer to walking away from Everton rather than becoming the Manager due to issues over transfers and backroom staff. He wants to sign Ross Barkley but Moshiri is aware of the ill feeling towards the player from our fan and wants to avoid another 'Benitez' type situation. It's also said that Lampard does not want any involvement from Duncan Ferguson, which Bill Kenwright apparently has a problem with. Not looking good, but let's hope it can all be sorted out over the weekend.
Can't ever do anything simple can we ?

If we want Frank, accept his staff requests and give him some transfer options, surely there's better than Barkley who while talented has no football acumen, if it's a choice between Frank as manager or Dunc as coach, sad to say it's time to let Dunc go
