TBH I'm happy the anger has disappeared from the forum.

People have realised that they went OTT with Benitez and have vowed nopw to give the next manager full support.

Nah not for me mate, I don't think it was OTT at all. He was an absolute shambles of an appointment and proved to be a shambles of a manager as well.

My dog could have been appointed manager and there would have been 60% in favour as she'd bark out orders better than that waste of space.

Hopefully Lampard brings something different and we get behind him and we pick up the few wins we'll need to be safe.

Plus win the FA Cup of course.

I'm glad Benitez has gone. It was corrosive. But it was right to support the manager of Everton. Any manager. That's my position.

People are going to have to dig in now and get behind a manager finally. Because we really are heading into the abyss if we keep on throwing them under the bus every season to 18 months. Lamaprd has to be supported through every downturn for the foreseeable.

Job done.
Nope

People expressed legitimate concerns which proved to be justified with the horrendous run of results

But what's done is done. We need to get a couple of wins ASAP and take the sting out of what could become a very perilous situation. We need everyone pulling together, especially the players who need to start proving they are good enough to be Everton players.

???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
They do.

It's led to the sickening blood letting that culminated in some 'kin beauts attacking and defacing their own stadium and others demanding the dismissal of some poor get who hadn't even been hired.

It's been nauseating, and I detect people have just about had enough of their BS.

We're going way off topic here, but just to say that opposition was implacable from before he was hired for many...perhaps most.

Correct

Because we all saw it would be a disaster. And it was.

If the owner had listened in advance we wouldn't be scrambling around right now to get a new manager installed and deadline day signings in the door. Its important that lessons are learned from what happened. Mistakes were made now we need to move on.
