Yeah they’ll be done with the daft videos in the morning while Frank’s taking training, really wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve spent tonight doing club media interviews

Funny though when you think he's gonna be getting pictured taking the training session today before we've even announced hiring him ????

….these managers are often only as good as their coaches & I’m really disappointed Barry isn’t part of Lampards staff. He will largely create the day to day atmosphere and he’s clearly highly regarded at Chelsea, its difficult not to set comparisons with Colin Harvey when he came into the Everton coaching set-up.

I’m old enough to remember Paul Clements Dad as a player & I’m not convinced he’s what we need. As a manager, Clements appears to have been sacked wherever he’s been, including recently in Belgium. It’s the slight concern I have with this appointment, although his record as a coach does stand up.

Regardless, Benitez has gone & it’s a new start. Hopefully a few fresh faces today to bolster the squad and help us to safety.

I feel like you just click baited me to the guardian ffs, absolutely nothing of substance there, no insight that you couldn’t gather without spending 10 minutes on Google

It also says Lampard fell out with players but doesn’t say any specifics of what happened and speculated it’s because he was aloof, then later in the article says he wanted a smaller squad and found it difficult having three left backs (not a problem here!) so to me it seems he had no control over his squad and found it difficult to give everyone playing time and some didn’t like not playing.

Clement is hugely regarded as an assistant though mate, remember Harvey failed badly as a manager himself.

Clement might not be great as the main man but he was Ancelotti’s assistant when he won the league with Chelsea and champions league with Real Madrid so it could be he’s the right man to convey the managers messages rather than being the guy himself.

Lampard would’ve seen how he worked with Ancelotti at Chelsea and hopefully sees that as something he was missing in his own time there, we’ll see!

How have you come to this conclusion? lol

Also fails to recognise that they went 17 games unbeaten prior to his bad patch, or that none of the players bought were the ones he requested.
