Cole might come across as a bit of a bell.
But he was an excellent player and defensively very good. It he can bring that to his coaching then its a positive

I think the biggest thing about Cole was that regardless the manager or the system, he was always a great performer. Just as comfortable getting forward under Ancelotti as he was sitting deep against Bayern under Di Matteo. Definitely think he brings experience at an individual level to defending(esp for the fullbacks) and maybe a few of the younger lads could pick up some stuff there. It's tough to make bad defenders good but it's possible to hide some of their weaknesses depending on the system.
