Why aren't English clubs after American talent?

Currently, all the Bundesliga clubs are rading all the MLS clubs for American talent. Great players are coming through the German clubs such as Hoppe, Reyna, Adams, Sargent and clubs like Monchengladbach, Wolfsburg all signed new American players from the MLS this transfer window. Recently, Schalke sold Mckennie to Juventus, and he is one of their best midfielders this season. RB Salzburg and Barcelona have all signed Americans recently as well. Plus, now AS Roma are likely to sign Bryan Richards from FC Dallas. So this had me thinking. What are the English clubs playing at? Surely, as England and America share the same first language, it'd be far easier to draw these Americans to England, rather than Germany or Italy.

Currently, in the year 2021 I'd say USA is producing more football talent than Brazil and it's not a stretch to say this. I am aware that Antonee Robinson plays for Fulham, but he is somebody who grew up in England and came through the academies in England, so it doesn't really count.
USA producing more talent than Brazil?

Mate that's complete nonsense- Richarlison alone is better than any attackers the US have...

If you tossed them into the CONMEBOL qualifiers, I honestly don't even think they would be able to finish 5th- they probably wouldn't finish ahead of Ecuador and Chile (let alone Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Uruguay)...

I'm talking about talent around the age of 18-22, in that bracket, so I'm not talking about players like Neymar, Coutinho or Firmino for example.

Heres the Brazilians u22 and u20 groups

U22
Cunha
Pedrinho
Luis
Emerson
Lodl
Ibanez
Dodo

U20
Veron
Rodrygo
Vinicius
Antony
Assuncao
Martinelli
Tete
Reinier
Pedro
Luis Henrique

Which Americans again lol ?

I think the USA are producing good young players and will have a very good team soon. But as you say it's mainly Bundesliga clubs raiding the US at the moment. England is producing even better young players than the US at the moment, probably up there with the best in the world. So maybe it's a case of not needing to look to far afield? Thomas Hitzlsperger was saying recently that Germany is no longer producing so many good young players as before, so their academies are recruiting more from other countries.

Why aren't Liverpool and Everton raiding Merseyside for more talent?

Growing up in Huyton, I saw tons of skilful players and I just don't get why they don't make it.

I saw Gerrard play, midget playing for Whiston Juniors. He was just another good player to me on the estate.

There should be a new approach to scouting, or maybe there is and I've missed it.

At least it's a bit better. If Michael Owen was born just a few years earlier, no one would have picked him. He already was rejected by Everton for being too small

When players like Jose Altidore (was the highest paid player in MLS) were getting paid more than Wayne Rooney the credibility is burned.

Having watched a few MLS games it’s standard is around league 2 or League 1 at best.

As stated earlier getting the Prem to sanction young non international players is virtually impossible.

An example being Almiron at the barcodes who in the MLS was seen as some sort of super talent but the reality is he is utter garbo and took a total age to actually score his first goal.

Premier League teams don’t like to develop, it’s not worth their time.
They can let the other teams do the hard work and use the vast wealth to just buy them when they’re good.

I think Germany has a fair few places which were army bases, for the US, so there’s a fair few Americans over there, so maybe easier to get players to settle too?
