Wildlife in your Garden

We get the usual. Hedgehogs, squirrels, cats etc., But some interesting birds. Parakeets, Red Kites, Jays, Green Woodpeckers, Fieldfares, plus the usual.
My daughter who lives in Flackwell Heath, Bucks, has Deer, Badger, Fox, Pheasant, Partridges. They have one of these 24 hour security camera's so they are able to see them all, particularly the nocturnal ones.

....Buckinghamshire is nice, sometimes stay in Prince’s Risborough when I go to the races.

3or 4 squirrels , jay bords , blackbird, male and female, 3 robins , which is unusual, a blue tit, loads of crows and a magpie, 2 fat pigeons … and ive also watched first hand a sparrow hawk chase a pigeon into our patio doors which killed it, then ate the whole thing right there infront of the window with us watching.

My garden isn't particularly big but it's brilliant for watching wildlife. I probably spend way too much money on bird food and way too much time gazing out of the windows.
The house is by the side of a 'country park' so in addition to regular 'garden birds' we get all kinds more commonly seen in woodland, fields etc. I also have a wild life pond which attracts plenty frogs, dragonflys, diving beetles, water boatmen etc. Mammals seen in the garden include rabbits, hedgehogs, squirrels, mice, shrews and voles, but my favourites were the stoats which set up home under my garden shed a few years ago.

I'm on a farm, father in law owns it but gave us a site on the land to build our house, so there is plenty of wildlife around badgers, frogs, foxes, hares but the strangest thing around lately are the rabbits a few years ago neighbors had 2 pet rabbits that escaped and had relationships with the wild ones and we got rabbits with great colors it's a few generations since and now most are a grayish blue they look strange, I'll try and get a picture of one there's plenty around.

Decent little area Flackwell, despite it's proximity to Wycombe.
