Will have nesting birds in it just now I imagine. At a guess contractors would have to wait until autumn. That’s if you live in the U.K of course @Joey66 may be able to help you hereAnyone brought down a large conifer in their garden before? Or ever had one removed and know the average cost?

Tree contactors are expensive, look for a good local recommended local garden firm as soon as the chicks have left their nest ....Will have nesting birds in it just now I imagine. Or if you are able hire a chainsaw - cut a V cut on the side you wish it to fall 3\4 of the way through then a side cut on the opposite side for the tree to fall in a controlled way
Then chainsaw at close to ground level....
I would have thought would cost a couple of hundred quid for a decent job unless you want to risk a cowboy doing it.Tree contactors are expensive, look for a good local recommended local garden firm as soon as the chicks have left their nest ....

It will not be cheap to get a reputable firm in. The actual cost would depend on a lot of things e.g. the height and girth of the tree, as well as the proximity to buildings, fences, roads and footpaths etc
Most firms will also charge for 'disposal' despite the fact they will probably sell on the wood, the bark and chippings etc
There are a lot of 'cowboy' firms around who would be cheaper obviously, but check that they have insurance, particularly if it's close to property.
Doubt you would get a sapling removed for that @Joey66 If it's a decent size tree near buildings you could be looking at 6 or 700
