Went for a run along Oglett Shore yesterday and I saw more Skylarks than I`d seen in years.
Sounds mad, but I`d actually forgotten what they sounded like, as I`d heard them that seldom in the past few years.
Cracking little bird to watch as they soar high into the sky singing.
I`m guessing people not trampling all over the fields that they nest in and hardly any rain has played a part in their resurgence.
