I went to Elland Road today for the Leeds game with my Portsmouth supporting son (one Pompey, one Everton). Gnoto looked half decent but also a bit headless chicken about him, and this was against a League One defence 3 months ago. We had it then spent it on a backup CB, we would have been better loaning a CB and spending the money on pace imo. Its things like this that don't convince me about Thelwell's approach to squad building at times.
